Position Overview:
Manages financial transactions and processes with large independence whilst assisting Financial Control Manager in planning, performing and developing operational tasks and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and that customer needs are met. The position is available for 6 months determined period.

Main responsibilities:

- Transaction processing: Assimilate data, process and record all resultant financial transactions in a timely, accurate and complete manner to fulfill contractual and financial obligations and satisfy customer requirements
- Assessment of errors, development and implementation of intervention plans
- Proactive response to changes
- Contribute in the monthly US GAAP closing process and statutory closing process in full cooperating in and under the guide of the Financial Control Manager
- Acting in full support of the Financial Control Manager in the coordination of the processes of reporting for consolidation as per corporate standards and local statute requirements:
• General ledger accounting;
• Accounts payable cycle;
• Accounts receivable cycle;
• Fixed Assets Accounting;
• Inventory Accounting;
• Tax compliance; transfer pricing;
• NY reporting (US GAAP);
• Treasury, cash flow management;
• Financial integrity, compliance.

- Proactively identify, rectify and follow-up errors and causes of errors whilst managing the quality and development of financial accounts, systems, process and databases within given parameters
- Strict adherence and compliance with the agreed balance sheet ownership and reconciliation, in line with the adopted segregation of duties

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- University of Economy, preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Good communication skills
- Team work, accountability to work in different cross function / divisional teams
- Financial accountability
- Drive for results – business objectives oriented
- Bilingualism (local language and English) is required
- Good IT skills including transaction processing, financial accounting, Word, Excel
